This Week in Worship: Rest Communicating the importance of rest was one of the first things God did in the Bible. So why have we neglected- or worse denied- the importance of this principle? Join us Sunday as we look at the pattern God gives us for the pace of our lives and it may just begin with a nap. Bring a Bible and bring a friend.

Confirmation Orientation/Information Session This Sunday 11 AM! All
youth currently in 8th grade or older are eligible to participate in
"Confirmation" this year. On Sunday, January 29th, we will have an
orientation/information session to discuss what confirmation is, what
the expectations of the confirmation class will be, get an idea of how
many confirmands we may have this year, and to help families discern
whether this is the right time for their youth to take this big step in
their faith journey. The meeting will be held in the fellowship hall
during the 11am service.

Three Strands Women's Small Group will meet at Bertucci's (corner of
Lauderdale and Broad St.) on Tuesday, January 31st at 7 pm for dinner.

Parents Night Out, Saturday, February 11th, 5-8 PM
Drop
off the kids at the church at 5 pm and then receive your date
assignment from Pastor Gordon. The kids will have a pizza dinner and a
fun time with the Youth Group while you enjoy a pre-Valentine's Day
