When we hear the word RICH, we often think about money and wealth. In the first-century church RICH meant no-strings-attached generosity. That should also be a hallmark of the twenty-first-century church too. The apostle, Paul, told Timothy, “Command those who are rich in this present world...to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.” So let’s Be Rich! Let’s do more and give more than ever before! Hope to see you Sunday. Bring a Bible and bring a friend.
Trunk or Treat
Our Trunk or Treat is this Sunday, October 26th from 5-7 p.m. We are still in need of “trunks.” Please email Leigh Ann (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you want to include your “trunk!” We will have games, smores, trunks, prizes, a hot dog dinner, and a hay ride. Come on out and join in the fun!
Mid-Week Gathering Begins Wednesday, October 29th
6:00 pm Pizza Dinner ($1 per person), 6:30 pm Group Study Session & 6:30 pm Youth & Trinity Choir
We are offering four classes for 6 weeks:
1) Frank Yurek will lead a Healing class;
2) Gordon Pruitt will lead a study for men titled Quiet Strength. This study explores six tough questions men ask. Each of the six Bible studies is crafted especially for men, and provides biblical answers, relationship-building discussion questions, fun activities, and character-building insights from the life of Super Bowl XLI Winning Head Coach, Tony Dungy.
3) Leigh Ann Pruitt will lead a study for women titled Road Trip by Jen Hatmaker. Join Leigh Ann to discover five adventures everyone should live.
4) The Youth Group will continue their Bible Study, 36 Parables.
If you are interested in attending one of our classes, please complete and return the bulletin tear-off or email: email@example.com. Books (Quiet Strength & Road Trip) are available at $10.00 each.
